Community Build-It! Convergence and Potluck!

Time: 1pm (Please arrive before 1:30pm or there may not be anyone at the door to let you in).

Date: Sunday, Feb 25th, 2007

Event: "Community Building Convergence and Potluck"
Price: Free of Charge

Location: Olympia, 711 State Avenue, 2nd floor, Goldberg Room. (Google Map http://tinyurl.com/4ga85

Wheelchair accessible and children are very welcome.

This event is completely free of charge. If you are interested in building and living in ecovillages, housing co-ops, landtrusts, affordable student housing, educational housing, hostels or any type of shared housing group, please join us at this event! You are encouraged to bring your ideas and proposals regarding building a new community. We also greatly welcome those who are just curious or interested in living in a community and planning the creation of a community. Thank you. Contact us through the email list on our website and sign up on the email list to find out more information about events which are happening before then.

If you are in an activist or community group and would like to make a 10
minute presentation just show up (and give one starting at 3pm though the event starts at 1pm). We have the room reserved until 5pm
so if folks want to talk further after the group is gone at 3:30 that is
fine and some of us are always willing to stay later.

It is a Potluck style meeting. Open to all. As we are an ecovillage
group, please bring your own cups, silverware and plates to cut down
on disposable plates/utensils. This will also cut down on dishwashing
for others.

Bring fruits (grapes, tangerines, oranges, etc), vegetables (cherry
tomatoes, etc.,) chips or hummus (always popular) if you have no idea what to bring. If you bring a prepared dish be certain to list ingredients especially if dairy  (including butter, eggs, etc.,) or peanuts were used on
an index card or small sheet of paper due to dietary restrictions and allergies.  Place your name on the index card so we can thank everyone who contributed to the Potluck meal.  Tghis is important as we had over 20 people at our January event who helped make this a wonderful event.

Susan, an Olympia Ecovillage member has generously volunteered to bring coffee for everyone.
