Free fun for all Ages!

At the Free School: 610 Columbia St, in scenic downtown Olympia

Every Saturday at noon: Crafts, Music, Games, Learning!(See schedule below)

Every Sunday at 2pm: Literacy Immersion: Reading Writing, Skits!

November 18th-MUSIC MAKING AND RECORDING: Along with some local musicians we'll be using homemade percussion, recorders, keyboards, guitars, thumb pianos, accordians, melodicas, voices, hands and whatever else, to record music on linear and digital recording sources. Bring favorite instruments from home!

December 2nd-PAPERMAKING:Using recycled and found materials, we'll create hand-made paper. Please bring messy clothes and junk mail, scrap paper, cool leaves or pictures.

Dec 9th-FREE RADIO OLYMPIA KIDS SHOW-From 12-2, during the Oly Local Music Program, the radio will be turned over to free school kids to play the songs they recorded, play their favorite bands, sing, read or talk about whatever.

Dec 16-FREE SCHOOL BALL-As the last day before winter break, kids and parents are invited to a dance party/dance-off/costume party with decorations, costumes, snacks, and making hats. Please bring costumes and christmas lights if you have them, snacks if you have time.
