Stuffed Animal Singalong Sleepover

Hey kids! Bring your favorite stuffed animal for a sleepover at the Tumwater Timberland Library! After a singalong of songs and movement games, we'll tuck the animals in and say goodnight. Come back the next day between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. to pick up your stuffed animal friend and find out what mischief the animals got into during their night at the library! This event is part of the Family Read & Sing Aloud, a Timberland Regional Library districtwide program.

Pie Fest 2015

Tooth Time

It’s a special Tumwater Timberland Library storytime! Children 3-6 years will learn about taking good care of their teeth, listen to a story and make a tooth puppet to celebrate Dental Health Month. Dental health goodie bags will also be available while supplies last.

Gentle Yoga

Interested in better health? Join Michelle Walz, certified Radiant Health Yoga instructor, for an evening of deep breathing, relaxation and mindful movement at the Tumwater Timberland Library. These techniques are helpful in decreasing stress and improving overall health. Please come comfortably dressed and ready to move your body and calm your mind. Michelle has been a practicing Physical Therapist for 13 years, and is also certified in Therapeutic Yoga.

Crafterhours

Celebrate the DIY spirit and get "crafty". Rotate through art stations to complete a variety of amazing crafts, jewelry and keepsakes. Some activities may require adult help for children under the age of 9, but all are welcome--adults, teens, and children. Registration is required starting January 23 at the library's information desk. The library is normally closed at this time and will be open only for the program. Sponsored by the Friends of the Tumwater Timberland Library.

Therapist Betsy Bergquist MA, LMHC, and her husband of 57 years, Bruce Bergquist, will focus on the importance of changing your perspective from negative to positive and building your relationship on appreciation, gratitude, fun, and mutual admiration. Change the lens through which you see your partner, others and yourself!
