A Day of Mass Resistance

October 5th, 2006
October 5th through 8th at US capitols and Embassies
  • Protest the present United States culture of corporate governance. It is guilty of waging an ILLEGAL WAR. It is YOUR patriotic duty and human responsibility to stop it.
  • Protest: Illegal War, Torture, Illegal Imprisonment, Domestic Spying, War Profiteering, Media Manipulation, and many other abuses of executive power and our constitution.
  • Protest the use of religion by the present administration as a dividing element on terrorism, war, politics, and our culture, this is unconscionable.

This is a great idea, but those colors!

They're all terribly unflattering for redheads!  I'll either be wearing green (to stand out against the unjust displacement of funds this war is causing) or black (to stand out against the mourning and other forms of human suffering caused by this war).  Phoebe and I will, of course attend, but I don't think we even own any red, orange or yellow garments.  Hmph!
