Former state legislator Sandra Romero and state policy veteran Dick Van Wagenen will present "Putting the Public in Public Process," a training for citizens that would like to lobby their state legislators.

Romero and Van Wagenen will take participants through the legislative process, from the importance of committees and legislative staff. They will also use case studies from their own experience in government.

This training is free, open to the public, and is sponsored by the Thurston County Democrats.
