Evergreen ranks fourth among "Birkenstock-Wearing, Tree-Hugging, Clove-Smoking Vegetarians" schools

God bless college ranking polls and the Princeton Review..

In addition to the high ranking among "Birkenstock-Wearing, Tree-Hugging, Clove-Smoking Vegetarian"institutions in the recent Princeton Review Best 368 College Rankings, Evergreen also performed well (16th overall) among the best schools for producing Dodgeball Targets.

The first category was based upon "a combination of survey questions concerning political persuasion, the use of marijuana and hallucinogens, the prevalence of religion, the popularity of student government, and the students' level of acceptance of the gay community on campus."

The second: "a combination of survey questions concerning intercollegiate and intramural sports and the popularity of the Greek system."

Does this tell us anything we didn't know?

What!!

I find it funny that the number 1 school for 'dodgeball targets' is also one of the top ranked schools for their gay community and their non-existent sports teams.

Huh?! Why does that make you a dodgeball target. "How dare you be different and focus on academics instead of sports!"

This list speaks so much more about the schools that aren't on it. I love it.

But I am Just Another Voice

Nonsense

Nevermind birks which don't even fit many students. TESC is the only school in the world willing to provide complete evaluations of performance of not only test scores but also of dedication, resourcefulness, and responsibility. That combined with the interdisciplinary approach of combining supposedly differnt subjects in a totalitarian approach towards total learning far surpasses any other college or university in operation today. Tesc evals are easily traslated into letter grades because letter grades are superficial. I know this because I have aced many tests as a student at tesc while maintaining a much deeper understanding of the practical issues (unrecognized by letter grades). At TESC I actually spent time on the credibility of the actual materials which lead towards a much deeper understanding of the situations involved in public policy. I gained a clearer understanding of how to influence public policy for the benefit of more Washington citizens with more positive actualizations. All I see here is the typical gossip that has kept TESC down (what is sandal wearing, clove smoking, bs which characterizes tesc to a dee instead of a tee) while the real learning occurs unrecognized???

TESC rocks...

...and will continue to rock. Thanks Evergreen for the good times ('89-'96).
