Broken Limbs
Submitted by oldtimeydave on Fri, 10/05/2007 - 2:08pm.If you are even slightly into the idea of sustainable agriculture and organics this is an awesome documentary to see. Half of my family is from Wenatchee and it is really sad to see that these apple farmers are willing to go out of business or tear down there old orchards to plant vinyards. They are fearful of going organic or diversifying and I believe the real fear for these people is being labelled a "hippy" in their conservative Eastern Washington communities. There are a few shining beacons of hope... check out this movie and see for yourself.
