I Saw
Submitted by JstPlnOnry on Sat, 02/09/2008 - 2:42pm.the movie for Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser the other day for the first time and I seriously have doubts about beef now!
I'll bet the book Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl: Written by Herself by Harriet A. Jacobs
will be really good. I'm going to have to look that one up myself.
I've read:
Beloved by Toni Morrison
Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison
How Stella Got Her Groove Back by Terry McMillan (and enjoyed the movie!)
all 3 were very good!

Thanks for the feedback on
Submitted by Chia on Sat, 02/09/2008 - 5:02pm.Please keep in mind that Earthlings will be showing at Capital Theater on Monday, March 24 at 6:30 pm. It's yet another one of those horizon broadening and eye opening works for those willing to take on a perspective other than that of mainstream entitlement. Judging from your reading list and openness to information from change-oriented perspectives, you seem to be one of those people. :)
