It was a moment of "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore". The "Hot Topic" that The Olympian throws on my driveway has to stop! After numerous calls to have it stopped they continue, through their car-based bandtitos, to throw them on my driveway...and, as I notice, virtually everyone else's.
The list of personal, environmental and community standards this perputal and unrighteous act violates is almost too long to recite. Suffice it to say that the waste of paper and plastic and the resources used to produce them, the gas and pollution used and created by the auto-drop, the visual pollution and defiling of our community created by the presence of these wrapped concotions, and the almost embarrissing array of silly and useless materialistic and wasteful products being "advertised" is, one would think, enough to cease and desit this shameful and anachrositic practice.
As if all that wasn't enough - I have called, many times to stop the delivery to my house. I am also informed that me neighbors have done the same.
This stops now!! Today I took the package, and my neigbors (at their request) and threw them on the steps of The Olympian. I URGE EVRYONE TO DO THE SAME What's good for the goose...
Maybe as they clean them up and recycle them (hopefully) they will realize that NO means NO.

Fantastic!I've done the same
Fantastic!
I've done the same thing and chucked about 8 of them that I'd saved up through the wet months right on their front steps. Maybe they won't stop but it was still pretty satisfying - Especially since it happened to be when several people were on their way into the building.
That's great...now everyone join in...
Thanks so much Vinoba. Ideas for how to spread this messag, calling for action, far and wide? It is only when we as citizens, or as consumers utilize our true power will the policy makers...or corporations follow.
