I wonder if there is a higher rate of chemical abuse and dependency amongst society's affluent compared to the rest of society.
I would hypothesize that the extreme ends of society has the highest rates of CD. Both the richest and the poorest probably struggle with the same problems of Chemical Dependency.
But I think that the stress of environmental degradation can definitely be a factor in the development of diseases like CD.
