No? Let me guess... Some evangelical church, which pays more attention to it's budget and last Sundays attendance than it's theology...
P.S. It's spelled "President"
P.P.S Way to correct your spelling... Don't worry, you don't need spellcheck to be the "presedent".

Americans don't really want people telling them what to do with their religious freedom (which also means the freedom to not choose).

Another Repub White Boy - How original
Submitted by IndyRadio on Thu, 09/20/2007 - 2:17am.*Against gay marriage and willing to screw with the constitution to achieve it.
*Wants government to subsidize "universal" privately owned health care.
*Supports centralized ID system for our air flights and other entanglements with the government to protect our identities.
*Thinks our children will be destroyed by our right to download adult material available from the Internet, and I assume other places.
*Doesn't like the way the Iraq debacle is being handled but seems to have no problem with war overall.
*Thinks that if all the students at Virginia Tech were armed, they would have had a fighting chance against the crazy gunman. But believes parents should really be in charge of these decisions, and that campuses shouldn't actually be armed camps.
So what, exactly is different here from the other white boy Republicans that should make me want to suddenly come to my senses and give up my few remaining freedoms to an authoritarian theocracy?

Submitted by Tschida on Thu, 09/20/2007 - 7:57am.I wonder if the good doctor would refer to Barak Obama as "Another demo black boy" and say "How original"? Do you think this would be permissible? Yeah, neither do I. This is just another example of the intolerance of the left in the face of its self described inclusion, tolerance and diversity.

One of the great non sequiturs of the left is that, if the free market doesn't work perfectly, then it doesn't work at all-- and the government should step in.

Submitted by DC on Thu, 09/20/2007 - 9:59am.Dear Keith Sprankle,
Thank you for engaging us here at OlyBlog. I doubt we will agree on much but you have taken the time to participate which is to your credit.
I appreciate you answering some of our questions and satirical comments, even if I don't agree with your responses. Other "leaders" today are often refusing to participate in constructive dialog, and tough questioning.
Thanks for not hiding.
But most of all, I want to say I don't consider your voice here to be a waste of time, or you as a person, beneath notice.
You should expect opposition, and probably more cynicism from OlyBlog, but since so far you haven't degenerated into aggressive, personal attacks, so I don't think you should expect dismissal from the community.
Well said

Submitted by Meta Hogan on Thu, 09/20/2007 - 11:54am.The demographic spread of the top republican candidates is considerably narrower than that of the democrats. Obama can't, by definition, be "another demo black boy" because there isn't a first in the top candidates for him to be an-other to. Find a correlating characteristic in demo candidates to the whiteness and guyness of the republican candidates, and go with that. Here are a few suggestions to get your ball rolling:
"another pro-socialist-healthcare demo"
"another I'm-not-gonna-be-soft-on-security demo"
etc...
I'm sure you can think of more colorful examples that will illustrate your point better than I have, but you get the idea.

What make me different from any other candidate?
Submitted by sprankle2008 on Thu, 09/20/2007 - 6:59am.Far be it from the American Theocracy which is exactly what will deprive you of your last remaining freedoms given the popular candidates of choice on either side.
Oil has been the economic driving force for over 50 years in this Nation, and the rest of the World for that matter. Oil has been the controlling factor in many wars, not just the Iraq war. I am different in that we can use this driving force to move our Nation away from the controlling influences of Crude Oil and away from the ramifications which our extensive use and demand has placed on the rest of the World. We must build, shift into ‘high gear’ the economic engine of America in order to break-free of the social grip accompanying our oil machine. I believe we can make this complex, aggressive and freedom-inspiring transition in a relatively short time. We must however, have someone in charge that is NOT connected to the influences of big oil. Setting America free from the oil debacle will only serve to increase your personal freedoms.
Not addressing this in the next five years will force implementation of federal regulation within your everyday personal life in an attempt to control your actions and your thoughts for the preservation of a single natural resource.
Religion plays an important role in any surviving democracy and must be acknowledged. Ones views must be understood as ‘speaking of’ and not ‘for’ any higher authority. We must voice the ability of all people to endow their thoughts on their own terms, at their own time and place. Applying theological principles enhances individual freedom of thought, freedom of discussion and freedom of choice. This belief is demonstrated in your own thought process within today’s society.
Lastly, if you look deeper, debt is greatest evil to which I seek the change in direction of our Nations quest for the 10 trillion dollar mark and beyond. Debt is the underlying force which will drive this Nation into a state of being only a memory of history. We must take decisive action THIS TERM, if we are going leave a progressive assimilation of the “Principles of Freedom” to the future generations of the World.
Simply apply the common sense of Thomas Paine.
---Keith Sprankle.

Submitted by Anonymously Larry on Thu, 09/20/2007 - 11:28am.I would not enter into working for a campaign that attempts to mix religion in government. I thought my posts to Keith were pretty clear on that matter. I have not told Keith that he can't enter into dialog here. I have told Keith that mixing religion and government on a national scale probably won't get him elected.
Please quit reading things into my posts that aren't there.

Submitted by sprankle2008 on Thu, 09/20/2007 - 1:17pm.Ah, so the statement “Maybe you should go to Church” incited some response and maybe a spark of worry concerning personal freedoms. That is exactly what is needed by an unknown candidate, to spark life back into those who would allow society to slip into depression through their inaction. We have to draw out people and wake them up to what is happening today.
What do you think will happen to your freedom of choice when the Democrats or even hardened Republicans take office, install universal health-care and increase your taxes to cover the short fall in Social Security? Then throw in world-wide inflation driving your food and oil prices sky high and you tell me who will have lost their freedom.
You will be working so hard just to pay your bills, have no internet, because you cannot afford it, and be forced into selling your car. Money and credit will dry up, and you will lose the prospect of opportunity in your future. A depression in this day and age will take 10-20 years to recover from.
America needs to take a hard look at using the policies of the past to solve the new issues of the future. It will not work and this will drive our Nation into a full blown depression.
Taking action now in the correct terms, will not only dissuade this outcome, but move our Nation to new increased opportunities. We can increase employment opportunity, increase educational opportunities and provide a system of health-care which is not carried on the backs of American workers.
Keith is hitting me where it hurts...

Submitted by Mary Baker Eddy on Thu, 09/20/2007 - 2:19pm.Are you actually counting on people being worried about their personal freedoms from your religious stance? Is it a case where you're trying to stir up some action through a scare campaign? And if that's the case, how serious are you concerning your faith? Your faith's your business but if you're exploiting it then one must wonder what else you'd be willing to exploit.

No, let me apologize. That
Submitted by sprankle2008 on Thu, 09/20/2007 - 3:31pm.No, let me apologize.
That was not the meaning or intent of my comments. Religion and personal beliefs have no place in a presidential campaign tactics other then as a representation of the candidates’ value system. A Presidential candidate must show their faith so people can understand the values which will affect their decisions within office. Outside of this, religion is a completely private matter for individual citizens.
I was meaning to elaborate on the previous comments and the readers’ interpretation of my religious standing through my website.
I wish to see smaller government not infringing on other beliefs and values of others and not forcing those beliefs of mine upon anyone.

Submitted by sprankle2008 on Sun, 09/23/2007 - 7:28pm.Thank you for bringing these concerns up. I feel that we all must work on innovative thinking and policies to help the homeless and reduce unemployment. Part of this is accomplished through my education plan in creating the opportunity to learn the skills necessary for the job market. Another part is accomplished through my programs to increase the number of jobs available in this country by lowering employer costs for fuel and providing growth incentives. The Homeless must be addressed on a local level; the federal government cannot have their hands into every aspect of our society. However, we can provide tax incentives to businesses for creating shelters and employment programs. Additionally, many homeless are there due to health related issues, which are addressed in my health-care plan. All of this works to help mental health issues, providing low cost or free medication and counseling.
As for police brutality issues, I believe news coverage, strong public outcry and strong, fast repercussions will soon remove this issue from local departments. We will always have cases which come about, but responsible actions will become more apparent as stronger and swifter action is taken against those who abuse their power.
Thanks for the questions – Keith Sprankle
