I got to thinking about the issue of women not feeling comfortable on Olyblog. Since many of these women may be lurking, but unwilling to participate or ask questions, there may be some who would like to learn more about guns. So this is a post is to provide a resource to get you started learning about guns. I would ask that this thread not become a debate thread, and anyone that would post here would only add additional local resources I may have missed.I would ask the docents to consider this for front page promotion as it is local, and for our local women Feel free to PM me if you have questionsEvergreen Gun Club They are a full service gun club that has a training program for new shooters, with women instructors and women shooting teams, etc. They have a pistol range, rifle range and support many of the shotgun sports. This is a magazine totally devoted to women and guns. Many of the articles are written by women. Since it is devoted to women and guns, all things about guns are specific to women. Gun selection, holsters, ammo, and more.
