In the Middle East

Weren't there some wedding attendees that were killed by soldiers for firing guns in celebration?

Dunno

I haven't picked up an Iraqi newspaper in awhile.

Well reported worldwide

There are lots of news sources that covered that story.

I guess we should be glad that we live in a country where we don't have another country running us and deciding the difference between our celebrations and our attacks.

I remember Iraqis voted for freedom.  I wonder when they we get it.

I must have missed it

or possibly didn't read it on purpose. I try to stick with the positive stuff. Hence the positive thread.

These symbols are why I'm glad to live in this country. I'm happy that you could bring a "glad" thing to the thread :)

I was going to post something similar but yours was done very well!!

Thanks!

I also should have added this picture, but it's not JUST strictly the U.S. PLUS I did a search for "girls at the beach" and the first picture lead to a russian teenage nudist society thingy. The other pictures google gave me were all too young for my personal blog taste.
