Interesting...

I'm downloading an episode to listen to.  I find this image on their website disturbing though...

That's strange..

I posted a different flier than that one. That is my old flier. What's up with that? Anyway, I'm sorry you are disturbed by the website image, but if that disturbs you, then maybe you shouldn't listen to my show because I can be pretty abrasive. But that is my way. I'm passionate about ending poverty, but also evicting the rich. Maybe if they could see what it was like...

Have you read

 The Good Earth?

As far as the image goes, if you are suggesting using armed force against those who posess more than you, that's your right.  Having "been there" and later achieving a nice comfortable lifestyle I can sympathize to some degree, but using force against the "haves" does not seem to be the answer.

It's symbology

I see the image as symbolic. I don't condone using physical force against anyone except in self-defense. Criminalization of the homeless is becoming a huge problem in this country. The homeless need to defend themselves. Not necessarily with guns, but with words and strength in numbers. Because let's face it, the rich get richer, while the poor get poorer. The rich folks don't like seeing the homeless in their communities. So they rally together and with the community council folks hands in their pockets, they create laws that prohibit basic life functions such as sitting, sleeping, being fed free food in public. The homeless and poor need to stop giving their labor and lives up for these profiteers. The homeless need to stand up and fight for their dignity. That is what the image means to me. I guess I didn't think anyone would take it so literally.

LOL

I see the symbology, but around this town, who can tell?  :-)

I agree with you on how the homeless are oppressed at times.  I have a deeper reply in mind, but no time right now...

Or maybe...

...we should give free guns to the homeless.

Give a little "have" to the "have-nots".

Not such a bad idea

Why do you think the Brady Campaign fights so hard against so-called "junk guns"?  It's the $100 or so price tag on many of them.  Imagine a gun anyone can afford?  Oh the horrors!  Oh it's masked as a safety campaign, or whatnot, but the end result is they have driven a couple of responible companies out of business who were in the market of making functioning $100 guns.  Heck I carried a little Lorcin .25 in my pocket, and later an Excam .38 revolver when I was barely getting by in Seattle.

I'm also interested in empowering victims of violence...

Oh, yeah

Bash the Brady Campaign.  Just make sure you don't say anything naughty about the NRA. They're pretty sensative folks.

Touche

However I did not include them in the same sentence as Nazis :-p
