Had a vegan/vegetarian meal, and how many went omnivore?  Personally I enjoyed the deep fried turkey and potluck meal that was shared at the marina...

No veggie zone.

We actually realized that we didn't have any vegetables with our meal, unless you count chopped celery and onion in the stuffing, or the potato dish, but that had bratwurst in it too. That's what happens when six single males get together to plan a meal. It wasn't intentional, just nobody thought of it.

Turkey: we gobbled it. Ham

Turkey: we gobbled it. Ham too. The souls of the slaughtered are going to scream in my dreams, but all I'll do is drool.

The potatos, both sweet and yukon gold, are kind of vegetables. Same with the black olives, along with the celery and onion in that soggy bread dish I like.

The pumpkin pie had pumpkin in it, that grows on a vine so it's a vegetable. Except it's seed-bearing, so it's a fruit.

I'm still hungry (and I even had a big breakfast too) but I've already recently bought new pants when my old size-32s started having the buttons and zippers break apart in the middle of work. I'd rather stop the growth at size-34 if going back to the old size isn't an option.

Please give me a second grace. Please give me a second face. I've fallen far down, the first time around, now I just sit on the ground in your way.

Turkey Here

Gotta love those $45.00 Safeway meals! I've bought them for the last 9 years at Thanksgiving and at Christmas time and wouldn't do it any other way!

12 lb. Turkey
2 lbs. mashed potatoes
2 lbs. stuffing
cranberry relish
pumpkin pie
12 rolls
gravy

We added my famous dilled deviled eggs, some corn, black olives and some cinnamon mashed sweet potatoes and a cherry jello cake and it was devine!!!

Carnivore

A little bit of mashed tatoes, and some stuffing, but mostly turkey.

Both

I tried to accommodate my daughter, who is a vegetarian, by making a vegetarian stuffing with marinated tempeh (as well as a sausage stuffing for carnivores). But she preferred the rolls.

Peace became pizza. -- Guglielmo
