So I did it. I managed to live beyond Mar. 27, 2008. I'm living proof that death-date calculator is a bunch of hooey. In other unimportant news, one of my cats, Spooky, has the ability to open cabinet doors. He does this and then crawls in and just vanishes for awhile. Recently I observed him opening a cabinet door and going inside. Then about a minute later he emerged, from a cabinet on the other side of the room!!! Since then I have seen this happen three more times. How does he do it? When I mentioned this mystery to another OlyBlogger, she told me that with talents like this, Spooky could probably expect to be appointed to a post on the, er, Cabinet when one of my other cats, Buster is elected President. I was going to drop another bit of unrelated trivia regarding a penguin, but I'm afraid it would cause a flap.
