Today I started removing and covering graffiti along Division, Cooper Point and Bowman. All I used was some Goof Off Graffiti Remover, a paint scraper, some steel wool and some gray paint. It went quick and I covered a lot of ground. Thanks to the lady that yelled "THANK YOU!" to me as she drove past, it made my day. If we all did a little bit we could stay on top of this graffiti. We make this community what it is.

Here is a link to some before and after pics.

If anyone is interested in painting over and needs paint the Habitat for Humanity ReStore (753-1575) has a bunch and it is really cheep.

Thanks for doing that

Nice job. I'll get me some of that Goof Off and carry a kit around in my car. Good idea.

Neighborhood associations

Neighborhood associations can get free kits from the city, too.

WOW!

That's awesome you did that! A lot of this graffiti was in my area! Thank you so much!

I agree with Gug!  We should all carry some of that Goof Off in our cars & clean up what we see when we see it!

Great post!  : )

i like graffiti

I don't mind graffiti at all. I like the idea that anyone with a spraycan can put their message in a public space. I also don't mind people who don't want to see graffiti removing it.

Yeah, I thnk people are just taling about

removing graffiti.
