I think your name was Brett? You were so kind to rush my dog to the evet Saturday. Since you got him there so quickly the docs were able to treat him before he developed any serious shock related injuries. I wanted to let you know he is alive and doing well. Also, I know your car got banged up - email me so we can talk.

I hope you find him. I'm

I hope you find him. I'm glad that he stopped and tried to help rather than just taking off. I hope your dog is doing well.

I was having a bad day until I read this

...thank you for posting it even if your primary goal is to find Brett. I hope you do, and that your pup continues to heal well.

Aw. Curbside

You sound like a very nice & forgiving person. How unfortunate your dog was hit at all but he was hit by a person who did right by both you & your dog! Maybe you can get his or her information from the vet? My best to all of you! :-)

I am so happy that your post

I am so happy that your post wasn't what I thought it was going to be when I saw the title. I've had many, many pets and when they're outside animals losing them comes with the territory.

I've never had to witness a pet get killed but I know more than one person who not only saw their dog or cat get hit but the driver also kept on going.

Please give me a second grace. Please give me a second face. I've fallen far down, the first time around, now I just sit on the ground in your way.
