Way Creepy! Read the Wikipedia Article The Infragard website Infragard Member's Website Article which cites info in Progressive Magazine. I just don't like how this smells.

Infragard is a program by the FBI and private business designed to guard infrastructure however it raises serious privacy issues, as refrenced in the Progressive article posted below... Some have alleged that members in Infragard in times of martial law have "shoot first" authority from the FBI...

This article does not cite any references or sources.

Here is another

It only cites intermediate sources.

Which are an article from The Progressive, and an entry from some guy's blog titled, "Tinfoil hat brigade generates fear about Infragard". Personally, I'm not going to put any stock in an article unless it's clearly fact checked, this one is not even close.

So I went

Through all the trouble of posting a link to the Progressive's article on Infragard, as well as the Wikipedia article, the official Infragard webpage, as well as the Infragard member's webpage.  I trust that is good enough for even the likes of you?

Well crap

Tell Rick to delete my horrible innacurate and non sourced and cited thread then.  Did you even read the Progressive's article?  Did you read the Wikipedia page?  Or are you looking for a fight?  I can't figure out where on earth you are coming from tonight.

No fight.

I did not read the Progressive article, I skimmed it. I took one look at the wikipedia page and decided it wasn't worth it.

It's kind of like sitting through more than about 8 minutes of a movie without there being a hook, it's already bad before you even get into it. Intermediate sources do not make for a reliable article, there needs to be more meat. Let's not delete it, let's see if maybe we can't prove it or disprove it. Then we can update the wikipedia entry to make it more accurate.

Ehh...

Hence the official pages, and the followup with the Progressive article when I realized there was no direct link to it.  Disregard the PM I sent you.  BTW I was not serious about deleting this post, when I put something up I stand by it.  I don't hide my weapons or opinion :-)

I see where you were confused on my post.  Plus I am not usually up this late so probably not up to my usual low standards :-p...
