First of all, let me say

First of all, let me say that I love our local music scene, and I love the diy promotion stuff. BUT... I was at the artesian well yesterday and there's a poster for this show glued to one of the blocks there. The show is over tonight, and the poster will still be glued there. Right next to some reaallllyy creative political dialogue a la sharpie. Those blocks were painted just three weeks ago by a really nice friend of mine who bought the special concrete paint out of her own pocket and volunteered her time to paint them. Can we put out a message to not glue things to them? Please?

I think...

That enpen has several regular stops for taking pictures of posters (I believe that Rainy Day is one; maybe Dumpster Values is another?). Then there is a digital copy accessible on OlyBlog, and no semi-permanent version glued to public artifacts.

Beware the terrible simplifiers.
