Submitted by enpen on Wed, 03/19/2008 - 10:39pm.I like the sculpture as well. It is a pretty good example of what happens when we outsource our art, though. To those who don't live in Olympia the city = State Capitol. Apparently the subject of this sculpture is supposed to be a State Senator having an affair with his Secretary...

Olympia's
Submitted by stevenl on Thu, 03/20/2008 - 7:58pm.best piece of public art.
It celebrates love.
It celebrates life.
It celebrates romance.
It is universal.
And it is in a very public place.
I enjoy and appreciate it every time I pass by it.
This piece of art speaks well of Olympia.
Those of us who take a second to regard it come away with our own interpretation.
Nice documentation. Thanks, enpen!
