Friends - come out for a very special bhakti-filled and shaktified kirtan June 16 at Waves Studio! Gina Salá and Daniel Paul draw on their devotion, deep roots in kirtan, and music and engaging good humor to offer up a deep, delicious, grooving chant evening to let our hearts and bodies celebrate and our minds relax.
Gina Salá has been chanting for nearly 4 decades and leads kirtan, workshops around the world, as well as annual tours to India and regular classes in chant, harmonium and voice in Seattle. She has mentored and supported many local chanters. Daniel Paul is central to the kirtan movement in the US, serving as grammy-nominated Jai Uttal’s main percussionist on tours and cds, and playing with Wah, Krishna Das, Dave Stringer, Snatam Kaur and many other kirtan luminaries including Gina Salá.
