part 4 too

This is great, Rick. Thanks for posting it!

Here, also, is a link to part 4: Part 4 (Medea Benjamin at the Green Festival)

How is this hyperlocal? It was in Seattle no?

One of the great non sequiturs of the left is that, if the free market doesn't work perfectly, then it doesn't work at all-- and the government should step in.

I think we should give up on

I think we should give up on the local connection.  It's pretty sad, actually.  The policy, well, there isn't one, so it's left to the 5 people listed to the right to decide.  That's bad news.

I have no flippin' idea how this can make it to the front page by merely mentioning Olympia.  But... =(

We can have a local impact

PMR shows that we can have a local impact on shutting down an illegal war machine...

We can take action locally to stop the slaughter of innocents, by our government, in Iraq.

When A Counter Protester Scared Medea Benjamin She Called Marine

When A Counter Protester Scared Medea Benjamin She Called Marines For Help

“While we were at the protest in Berkeley from 12 to 4 p.m., a white Volvo drove by and a man spat upon CodePink,” Kelley wrote in an email to MAF’s Melanie Morgan. “They chased him down the street and got into a verbal altercation. The police were NOWHERE in sight.

“That’s not the best part, ready for this?

“Medea Benjamin yelled and I quote “Marines!” She actually yelled for our help because this man had stepped out of his car. I even asked her if she was yelling Police and she told me, “I said Marines” then put her arm around my friend Allen (the Marine Vet). Ironic?”

You've got to be kidding!

Can you believe she actually thought it was a U.S. Marine's job to protect the safety of U.S. citizens, rather than raping and pillaging oil rich distant lands? Get a clue, lady!
