Although many people here in the US are only just beginning to learn about them, medicinal mushrooms such as reishi, maitake, chaga and many others have a rich history of use by human beings in many places all over the world for thousands of years.
In this presentation we'll examine the role these unique fungi play in the ecology of our planet, and explore how their function in nature relates to their ability to benefit human beings. We'll also discuss some of the incredibly therapeutic components that make these particular fungi so very beneficial for us. There will a variety of different species of dried medicinal fungi on hand as well as a demonstration on how to make both teas and tinctures from them, so you'll come away with a working knowledge of how simple and easy it is to make your own healing medicinal mushroom based remedies and elixirs in the comfort of your own home.
If you've ever wanted to expand your knowledge about mycomedicinals, please come to this one-of-a-kind workshop to learn more about these extraordinary herbs!
