I really hope the full board will re-convene to rescind the vote that fired Jeffrey. I feel compelled to say that I want the OFS Board to act responsibly and it doesn't sound like these last actions were thought through very well. I'm just a little touchy these days about abuse of power and due process. I think that the suggestion of bringing in professional mediation to begin to resolve issues is a good suggestion. I also am moved to speak up because I do not want the OFS to fail and have to close it's doors. Maybe this 'crisis' will bring about an infusion of energy. The OFS is very important to the local progressive community and to all others who might venture into the theater to satisfy their yearning for something different from whatever that other stuff is. I think it is important to keep this venue alive and thriving in our community.
