It's the HUGE Oly/Capital rivalry game tonight and I'm going to miss it (my 10th grade daughter thinks I'm a traitor!) My heart & spirit will be with Capital but my mind & body will be on Vashon!

I didn't attend either
Submitted by Ehver Green on Sat, 09/08/2007 - 10:28am.I didn't attend either school, but my son is part of the TCYFL Cougars. I'm a Timberline grad and we lost 21-0 to Tumwater last Thursday night.
I did wear a dark blue shirt with white stripes so I was covered either way!
Capital looked terrible. They threw the ball all over the place last weekend against Black Hills but only threw it 10 times last night. Their 6'-5" receiver wasn't a factor at all because they split him out too far on the strong-side every down! They needed that guy running slant routes through the middle with his height. Oly owned them on the line so their running game didn't go anywhere.

Reminds me, it seems like the restaurant/cafe scene in Oly is one rich in stories and dramas, might be true of all restaurants everywhere, maybe because we are a smallish city information and stories flow faster.
If they leave I hope that excellent location is picked up by a worthy (as so deemed by me :) ) business.

Then I see it....the jewelery store! His name escapes me and ,due to my desire to use fewer insults that revolve around femininity, I won't call him the name I am thinking of, but you all know who I'm referring to.
Point of my post, his shop looks kinda crappy. He's in a good spot for business too, I wonder how he's doing financially with that attitude of his. That's all, just thought I'd share.
