New Anthropology and Olympia Homelessness Blog
It's brand new, and there's only one post so far, but Marcus Godby has started a new blog about the culture of homelessness in Olympia using ideas from cultural anthropology — Homelessness in Olympia, 101: A Cultural Anthropological Take on the Local Homeless Issue.
I'm hoping one anthropological thing he'll do is get out on 4th Avenue and start interviewing people, because I think it would be helpful in a number of different ways for us to know more than I do (and more than I think the City does) about who's on the streets in downtown Olympia and why...
