After falsely accusing another city council candidate as a Republican, the death-knell to any Olympia City council campaign, it has come to my attention that another candidate is a full-fledged Republican.

Even won the GOP primary for Lt. Gov last year. But, in the GOP's defense, most voters probably thought he was Jim West, mayor of Spokane.

For the record, I don't really have anything against Republicans. I know many fine Republicans, and I respect people who express their views by joining political parties. I just think its funny for a Republican to run for city council in Olympia.

I'd like to begin interviewin

I'd like to begin interviewing folks on the city council (and those who'd like to be). Is there any possiblity that you could put together a short primer on who's presently on the council, and what the dynamics are? Also, who would be good to start with for an interview?

Anyone would be good to start

Anyone would be good to start with, but you would probably want to stick with the incumbents and work your way down. That is because they have the greatest chance of making it through the primary (for which I already got my ballot and voted). They also have the most direct contact info, which I'll post below.
