There was a strong presence of Olympians at the Bangor Naval Base outside of Bremerton.

The day and actions were all successful. Overall, the events can be taken as a testament to the effectiveness of non-violent direct action.

Happy Birthday Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Here is a picture from the event:

I agree with the banner, Hiro

I agree with the banner, Hiroshima Nagasaki never again! Now Tehran or Pyongyang, I'm not so sure.

God forbid a subtle or nuance

God forbid a subtle or nuanced interpretation!

My parents made sure to teach me that hitting was not an acceptable way to solve my problems. Jesus teaches me the same thing. What is the difference (besides scale) between hitting some one and dropping a nuclear bomb on them?

So Rob W. how many times woul

So Rob W. how many times would you take a punch in the face before you fought back? Sometimes using force to stop violence is the only way.

This country needs dreamers like you Rob. And it needs warriors like me.

Nuclear war needs to be avoided at all costs. It would be a horrible thing. And all nukes need to be destroyed. But our nukes should be the last to be destroyed.

But its better to have them and not need them, than to not have them and need them.

TFI-Yeah, I'm an Old Testament Christian myself, but I continue to work daily to be more Christ like. The turning the cheek 70X7 times isn't in me. Maybe when I'm too old to fight back.
