The Olympian recommends "yes" vote on levies:

The simple truth is that Washington lawmakers are not living up to their constitutional obligation to fully fund basic education. As a result, school district administrators must rely on the generosity of voters to approve two-year property tax levy requests to make up the difference.

Levy dollars are used for basics — smaller classes, student transportation, special-education and gifted-education programs, and extracurricular activities such as orchestra, athletics and other programs that build well-rounded and well-educated students.

What do y'all think?
