Dec 8 2005 - 1:00pm Don’t miss Vagabond Opera with Red Brown & the Tune Stranglers tonight (Thursday) at Plenty in downtown Olympia from 8 to 10 PM. It’s an all ages show and $5.00 will get you in the door and a complimentary beer, wine or soda! Vagabond Opera performs an eclectic mix of original and traditional compositions, unified by an old-world mood, with elements of Eastern European, Klezmer, Jazz, Arabic and Tango mingled in the music played with skill, exuberance and a gritty vagabond edge. The Tune Stranglers had the great opportunity to play with them this last Summer at the Oregon Country Fair and thoroughly enjoyed it! |
