The SPEECH Annual Meeting will be on Wednesday February 8, at 7:00 pm at Traditions Fair Trade Cafe in downtown Olympia. Please join us for an evening of old friends, new faces and baked goods -- and to hear more about our ideas for the future of Green Pages.

We are also recruiting volunteers for the Green Pages staff:

The current staff of Green Pages (GP) would like to invite all who are interested to join us in the production of this independent, community newspaper.

Staff double as SPEECH board members, but the focus of our meetings will be to brainstorm upcoming stories and shape future issues of Green Pages. Our aim is to come together regularly as a writers, editors and newspaper production staff, rather than hold run-of-the-mill, business-style board meetings.

GP staff can contribute articles or regular columns, make decisions about the look and layout of the publication, act as liaisons with other groups who want their information or stories published, distribute the paper and help with the organizational/business side of GP and SPEECH.

Please plan on attending the annual meeting to learn more or contact the SPEECH office at speech@zhonka.net or 786-6349. Be sure to include your phone number or email address so we can get in touch with you.
