Northern is pleased to announce our first ever Silent Benefit Art Auction! All artwork included in the auction will be featured in our gallery for the entire month of October. The opening reception will be held during the annual fall Artswalk, Friday, October 5, 5-10pm, and Saturday, October 6, 12-5pm. With over 50 artists participating, there are original artworks available for every budget! Donated work includes paintings, mixed media works, drawings, prints, watercolors, photographs, wearable crafts, sculptures, ceramics and even a professionally engineered remix for an original song! All proceeds of the silent auction will directly contribute to Northern’s operational expenses and support our continued commitment to Olympia’s musical and artistic community.
UPDATE: This week, Northern was robbed. All of our audio equipment used to put on shows was stolen. Now, more than ever, we need your support. Northern: The Olympia All Ages Project is a non-profit, 100% run volunteer organization. Every dime the venue generates goes into paying the rent, buying supplies, paying utility bills and repairing equipment. Northern is truly a labor of love. Love for our community, our creative friends, and the scene we want to inspire, strengthen and grow.
Please stop by to bid on items during the opening and throughout the month! The gallery will be hosting weekend afternoon hours throughout October to facilitate bidding.
