Friday night was our first night at the Silverdale Beach Hotel in beautiful retail land - Silverdale.  The city has turned into the Federal Way of the Peninsula, but I do have to say that the Hotel is truly an oasis in a desert of major retail.

Nothing fancy, but comfy, the food is decent and the staff is great.

Think of it as a mid-winter getaway within 90 minutes of Olympia.
