Sweet!

Thank you. I've been wonderin'...

Me too

Boy, do I know how to make a Friday night exciting or what? And I'm wearing a cardigan as I type this! Look out! I'm a wild guy!

Personally, out of all of these top 100+ I liked Merwyn's Unity Zone concept the most.  His premise is great, and needs to be continually injected into OlyBlog. His ground rules of leaving the hot topic of the moment at the door before entering is groovy, man. Sometimes we just need a space like that. Thanks guy. Good work!

Thanks for that walk down memory lane, Steven

"Emma Goes to Banned Camp" was fun reading.  I've certainly settled down since those days.

sweet

I only had one in the over 100 club, and it was one I mostly didn't write. But, was accused of writing ;)

Why does this make me happy?

Man,

I shouldn't have deleted all my posts.....for some reason I'm a lightening rod for discussion. Oh well.

Fudge

I sure hope will_is_ok is still out there. If he isn't I know for sure his confederates are and perhaps they would kind enough to let him know of this honor. The Fudge post has finally joined the Diogenes Club.
»

With a little help from you it did.

I for one call for an investigation into the questionable nature of the 100 comments on this thread. Any comments not relating to fudge or feces should be discounted and an asterisk should be added to the record books.

Fair enough

However I submit there is a fecal connection throughout the entire thread. As in, "These comments are full of ..."

Lol

Thanks Steven, I needed that.

I knew there was a push for "fudge" to make it

Yes, but it took over 2

Yes, but it took over 2 years to get there. It was a long-range evil plan.

I can only hope "I knew there was a push for 'fudge' to make it" isn't some sort of sick pun made for the benefit of the kind of guys who enjoy watching the Three Stooges.

Hey. Wait a minute. What am I saying? I'm one of those guys!

How a call for

condemning an act of vandalism turned into the beast it became is a head scratcher to me. I just hope will_is_ok remains the Uber thread.

My two cents.

What keeps some person from just posting 100 times on the thread themselves. Or does it count if two or three people just keep on constantly posting comments back and forth to each other. Anyway you stretch it most the posts and comments on olyblog are by the same five people. And I know that's a little bit of an exaggeration, but it is a fairly accurate observation. How many users does olyblog have anyways? And how many of the registered users are still active? And really is that fudge post really citizen journalism or hyper local? I don't know, I'm kind of rambling. I mean is that really a good yardstick for the validity of of a post how many comments it has? Well that was my two cents. Eat the rich business poorer scamming. I call bullsh** on the 100 club!!!!!!!

I decided to check my observations out re my first post on this subject. So I looked over the fudge post and according to my scientific calculations. There was approximately 25 individuals that posted on the fudge post. Now my math might be a little bit wrong it is conceivable I might have skipped one or two but I think it's pretty much on point . It would be 26 but Bert and berd are the same person, and also I'm counting myself as I posted to the fudge post this morning. And I didn't count all the times I seen old Stephen L.'s name, but my guess is that you pull well over 50%. Some spots on the post have you gone on like five or six comments one after another. It's like your trying to hype the hundred club when really you're the person doing most the posting. Here is the list I got of the people that posted on the fudge post. Will is okay, Rick, Robert Whitlock, under covers, Stephen L., V-ster,sarah , Crenshaw sepulveda, Mike, Rebecca, Norm, summer Isle, hazardous waste,Emmetoconel, anonymous something I did not write the full name, meta-Hogan, Merlin Haskett, in warty, empen, original yoda, laurian, security six, Gugliamo,JT,bert and berd, who are one and the same person. So there it is my non-technical approach and being really bored has showed that the hundred club is a crock. so the way I look at it the fudge post only has 25 commenters, and when it comes to the power of the Internet 25 people isn't much. Okay enough for now. Now please don't take this the wrong way either this is not an attack post or anything just my observations. And I'd love to see more Caymans on olyblog. This post was brought to you by Dragon speech. Eat the Rich the poor are skinny. I'm getting better at this Dragon speech and it still frustrates me at times. Later tater tots.

Bert and Berd Same Person

Bert and Berd are also the same person as Robert Whitlock. Same person, different names.

My thread happen awhile ago

long before there was a "count". So no, I wasn't just trying to pump a thread past 100. There was no 100 club at the time.

»

hold de presses!!!

I just noticed, this thread talks about the fudge post but it's not on the list. I made the assumption that it was because of the comments that were made that's why used it as a example. But Stephen talks about it saying it took two years but it finally made it or some such, just scroll back up and you'll see it. And I'm not about to go down another post and check in all the names to see which individuals posted in total compared to the amount of posts posted. So you all are stuck with my poor journalistic talents. Enjoy the snow before it all melts. eat the rich the poor are skinny

Well, you bring up an important philosophical question

Does a list of all the lists list itself?
»

plan B saga under the scope...

136 posts by 14 individuals !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! eat the rich the poor are skinny

Interesting

I compiled this list in answer to a question by O. Yoda on what were the longest comment threads. Other than that, there is no premise or agenda.

Your further detailed statistics are interesting and I thank you for the footwork. Good stuff. I encourage you to keep going on compiling stats, particularly on how many people there were per every 100+ thread.  I'd be curious in how the results came out.

And we have another 100+ club member
