Saw this on the Olympian and thought it would maybe nice to share since I enjoy our parks. I don't really like all the crappy development that is going on and I sad to see someone who worked to save our parks pass away:

Herb Legg, a longtime political and community activist who helped save two Olympia parks from development in the 1950s, died Monday after a long illness. Legg, 86, was a lawyer by training and an activist for the poor and the environment. The longtime Democrat was most proud of his work to save Watershed Park from a housing development and Sylvester Park from becoming a parking garage in downtown Olympia.

Thanks for the heads up,

A lot of times I don't notice where things are, I have a habit of just going to the recent posts page.
