What is on your mind this rainy day?

If we're already worried

If we're already worried about the rain, its going to be a long winter.

No worries here

At least not about the rain, I enjoy it.

Anyone know what happened last night around rush hour evening in Mud Bay and Delphi area? Lots of emergency vehicles, what looked like work being done also on a utility pole, and a big back up of cars that eventually had to find detours.

I was one of those cars

I was one of those cars turning around at 8:40ish...we couldn't make out what was going on even when we were at the front.

Lisa's officially dying

Lisa's officially dying tomorrow, although today she's already being asked to accompany a well-dressed usher to the Afterlife, in a story that I've simultaneously despised and admired Tom Batiuk for.

Elsewhere it looks like Lynn Johnston is sneaking a possible death in her strip. Is it timed to take some of the thunder from Funky Winkerbean? Afterall, Johnston has already killed Farley, a couple of pet rabbits, and the other Grandparents.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I haven't seen my little girl since Sunday and probably won't see her until Saturday. She's stayed the night elsewhere before but this is the longest she'll be gone.

it's 3:20 pm Wednesday and I'm at Bread and Roses. I was on the phone with a volunteer and CRACKBOOMGRUMBLEGRUMBLE I heard thunder that nearly had me changing pants! Phew, it was loud and close!

We heard that here at our

We heard that here at our house too!  I thought all our wood we had stacked fell down or something at first it was so loud and close!

Here comes the rain again...

I'm thinking about leaving the house

I was going to go and see 10 canoes this evening, and I'm going to have to walk to a friend's where I left my bicycle to get there. If I have the right attitude and some warm soup, I imagine the rain will be quite pleasant.

Right attitude & warm soup

Perfect equation for how to enjoy the rainy season.
