On my walk tonight, I was app

On my walk tonight, I was approached twice by people who are looking for their missing dogs. There are signs up downtown. One of the dogs, named Rogue, is very shy and his (?) owners have posted a $100 reward for the return.

I just didn't have the heart to tell these poor dog owners about the caiman situation.

Both the West side and downto

Both the West side and downtown have an unusually high amount of missing dogs signs.

I propose we feed all dogs some sort of chemical that doesn't harm them, but does make caimans violently ill. Along with putting dye packs on all cute puppies.

I found an interesting piece

I found an interesting piece about large reptiles as pets in Washington State:

http://www.lowergroundreptiles.net/articles/Sept03OwnAlligator.html

In this, the author says, "In the cities of Olympia and Lacey, in Thurston County, it is illegal to own any member of the crocodilian family without a permit, and those permits are extremely difficult to obtain." Is this true? What about Tumwater?

A guy I knew from Alabama claimed it was illegal in that state to own an alligator if it was longer than six feet, so owners would just keep lopping off parts of the tail to keep their pet legal.

How fast did they grow back?

How fast did they grow back? Did the owners eat the removed tail sections?

Deflated porcupine

Has sprung too many leaks and can no longer contain helium, enabling it to bob along the ceiling. Needs a loving, caiman-free environment. Not recommended as a pet for children.

Pseudo Caiman

Was falsely sold as a caiman, is actually an alligator. Has been wrassled extensively. Now that the truth of its alligatoriness is known, verified by properly trained vet, it is available to a loving home. Might make an excellent present for an older couple in tandem with a deflated porcupine. Remember, Christmas isn't all that far away.
