Here are the primary results for Thurston County.

As of a minute before 9:00 p.m. (and 8,000 ballots left on the tables to count) here is what I found interesting.

Position 2 on the Olympia City Council is almost a three way tie with Matthew Green and Craig Ottavelli looking like they're going to make their way through. Amy Tousley's 29 percent just isn't going to cut it, but it looks close.

On position 3 of the Oly Council Jeane Marie Thomas is twenty points better than Rhenda Strub (57 to 27). I would have bet this had been a lot closer.

On the Port Commission Suzanne Nott looks to lose out to George Barner and Bob Van Schoorl, but more than 60 percent of voters are voting for someone who isn't the incumbent Van Schoorl.

I can't believe they're not

I can't believe they're not going to refresh these counts until tomorrow at 4 p.m.? That seems strange...

Wow... position 2 is a close race!

I can't believe more people don't vote when their votes actually make a difference. Matthew Green and Craig Ottavelli are only 14 votes apart!

With seat 3, speaking from

With seat 3, speaking from my own personal opinion, I got a feeling that Ms. Thomas was not as "extreme" as Ms. Strub. That is simply from reading their websites though.
