I propose that OlyBlog have a semi-anonymous meet-up and reporting of an event.

What? Olympia Film Society's showing of Fritz Lang's Metropolis.

When? Sunday, April 13, 6:30pm.

Why semi-anonymous? Because too many people from OlyBlog already know each other for it to be truly anonymous (unless we all agreed to wear masks) and organizing a time for everyone to meet before the film is not something I volunteer to do.

What's the point? It should be fun, supporting OFS is a good thing for our community (in my opinion) and I think reading a bunch of different perspectives about the same event could be an edifying part of this OlyBlog experiment.

Interesting

Reading about the film I almost feel I should wear a cap and a top hat and carry an ebony cane to watch it.  If I can make it I will just to see the film.  I like the old silent flicks.

I think that is a pretty good idea.

One of the great non sequiturs of the left is that, if the free market doesn't work perfectly, then it doesn't work at all-- and the government should step in.

a reminder

For those who are interested, the show begins at 6:30pm tonight.

For those who do attend, if you have a camera you should bring it. We can pool perspectives in a post-film post.

Aw crud....

I forgot that was today.  Oh well.  Had an appointment to keep anyway.
