How many people are on OlyBlog and work for a government entity?

If you're comfortable with stating which entity, that's fine. If not, that's fine, too.

I'm just curious how much each person has to give up in order to work for the public.

I work for the U.S. Army (federal government.) While I'm probably afforded the largest amount of protections, I also voluntarily surrender and suspend constitutional guarantees.

Good to see you

I want to say that first, good to see you here, hope you are doing well and staying as safe as you can.

I don't work for a government entity myself. There are of course other ways people work for the public, but I do understand what you are asking here.

I've never worked for the

I've never worked for the Government, but I was Operations Secretary for Sound to Harbor Head Start/ECEAP which was funded by State and Federal money. I would have had to be very careful making public some of my beliefs on Child Rearing, Immigration, People on Meth, Prisoners, The Welfare System because they didn't completely mesh with Head Start's values and mission.

Sometimes it could be annoying or frustrating, but I imagine it would have been worse if Olympia Master Builders had hired me; they would often ask for me when I was a temp through Express Personnel, and they invited me to apply for their Front Desk position when it was open. I made the attempt to go for it (though Express dropped the ball) but on reflection I might have considered it selling my soul being a representative of mostly Republican pro-business money bulldozers. They were nice people to work with, though.

It's the same old story - Everywhere I go, I get slandered, Libeled, I hear words I never heard in the bible
