William F. Buckley Jr. Passed away this morning while at work.
He was the founder of National Review and had a column syndicated calle "On The Right". He served in the CIA and was the author of many books. He was also a delegate. Many people may remember him on the PBS show "Firing Line".

Rock'm Sock'm Bill!
Submitted by Guglielmo on Wed, 02/27/2008 - 3:58pm.I was a big fan of Buckley during my conservative years (which lasted through the Carter presidency). Man, the guy sure had a way with words. But here is a classic moment when he got pissed off at Gore Vidal during the 1968 convention (perhaps because Vidal superglued his index finger to his ear). Seriously, like him or not, he was an important political thinker.
Good-bye, Old Crypto-Nazi

Submitted by Rob Richards on Wed, 02/27/2008 - 4:37pm.He was an interesting character though, and despite his being a huge asshole, was provocative and insightful (though his insights were often misguided in my opinion).
I disagree with him on almost everything...
