I was reading the news tonight and one thing really stood out to me, thought should share a graph I made

make of this what you choose, but I think one thing is very clear and it starts with a D.

Finally

Maybe the hippies put down their dope long enough to participate in the election process. I wonder if Olympia can be convinced?

We will have to wait and watch for how much

voter suppression occurs in the next election cycle.  I think the democratic vote has been suppressed effectively for the last few cycles.  It doesn't matter too much how many folks might want to vote a democratic ticket, if you can keep them from voting or miscount their votes, an election can reflect the will of the powerful instead of the will of the people.

I appreciate your post here, Benny.  Nice graph, tells a story.

Call me a conspiracy

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but the mainstream media is not going to make this 83% percent jump in (D) turnout, and 89% higher turnout then (R) caucus goers a major factor in there coverage. Why? Because if they did, Americans might realize how set the stage already is for this election. Why would people tune in and continue to watch these GOP wannabe's duke it out if they knew that (D) were already getting x2 the voter turnout in an less hotly contested battlefield for the nomination?

Is that a typo?

Or are you really displaying the number of Republicans in 2000 instead of 2004?
»

not a typo

In 2004 there was no GOP caucus, Bush had the nomination so I am showing 2000. i would be interested to find out the number of Dem's who showed up in 2000 though.
