The other night I was watching a NOVA show on KCTS about the Cassini mission to Saturn. One of the questions the mission was supposed to answer was: How were Saturn’s rings formed? They took high res. pictures of the rings and ran them through some kind of spectrum analysis and the rings came alive with beautiful colors. Watch the show for an explanation.

Anyway, I messed around with the picture and added some of my own stuff to it.

Speaking of outer space, what about UFOs? The other day, someone mentioned that three UFOs were seen over Olympia. I started looking around and came to Peter Davenport’s “National UFO Reporting Center” website. By the way, Davenport plans to run for Washington’s 7th legislative district next election.

Anyway, I didn’t see any information for sightings for the last few days around here but I ran across about 25 descriptions of Northwest “event” from November 11, 1997 (scroll down). I saw this event and was never satisfied by the official explanation, which was “space junk falling into the Pacific Ocean”. Hello? It/they were going from west to east.

(MESSAGE FROM YODA: Hey, I’m having major formatting problems and I think it’s with my account. I can’t get rich text to work very often and Marcie doesn’t have the same problem. I probably clicked a wrong button or something but If a docent reads this, could ya look at my account (The Original Yoda) and set everything back to default, please. I’m going nuts with this whole thing. Thanks. PS: Sorry I had to use Marcie's account for this but she gave me permission...)

Wonderful!

Clever and fun graphics. Thanks.

Sometimes Olympia UFOs turn out to be natural events, and sometimes they are more mysterious.

Speaking of UFOs...

...I was trying to remember something I heard once. Something about an outside threat uniting the world. To my surprise, it was Reagan.

Sometimes they let him drive in the driveway.
