It looks pretty sloppy out there -- glad I don't have to go out in it this morning. I'm sorry for those who do!

If you're walking, stay far away from the road. This slush can really fly.

*Following up on a BCTI discussion in Gug's demographics post*

Let me set the scene to this comment: I'm putting in a CD that has Mississippi John Hurt, John Lee Hooker, Eric Clapton, Johnny Cash and Nick Drake. I'm cracking open a bottle of the cheapest red wine-flavored turpentine and I won't change my clothes for at least four days.

I just found out that I had needed to get involved by last October. Those who did have already received their settlements.

However, they're still weighing their options in filing suit against the Accreditation company and also a Financial company and they're mailing paperwork my way.

Ach! The settlement was for $9 Million. Up to 28,000 students were eligible.

EVEN IF the lion's share hadn't gone to the law firm the individual portions would have been measly, a couple hundred dollars. It wouldn't have even been enough to pay off the loan (which is only paid off now because someone gifted me the balance last Spring.)
