Aug 9 2008 - 7:00pm Aug 9 2008 - 9:30pm Discover the art of storytelling, as members of The South Sound Story Guild present adaptations of literary work, folk tales and local history through stories on Saturday, August 9th at Priest Point Park. This free event is co-sponsored by the Olympia Parks, Arts & Recreation Department. Stories for all ages will be told from 7-8pm; spooky stories and creepy campfire tales will be told from 8:30-9:30pm. This year, the event will be held in a new location near the play equipment, look for the bright pink signs to guide your way! Story listeners should bring a blanket, cushion or lawn chair and snacks for festival style seating. Bring a flashlight for the late evening program. |
