I found this a while back while rummaging through photos on flickr. Based on information provided with the photo, I assume that this man who is gesturing is a supporter of Bush:

Can anyone say anti-social tendencies? Looks like trouble to me. Why is he behaving in such a vulgar manner, his man is in office, right?

»

Why don't you...

ever post the same type of pictures of people, some of them politicians, who make similar gestures who DON'T support Bush? I'm sure someone has TJ on film somewhere... Don't be so biased.
»

Why don't you

post those pictures. Go for it.
»

Because it contributes

Because it contributes absolutely nothing to the conversation.  It's enough to know they exist, no need to post garbage.
»

Better talk to Vince then

because he's all about those pictures.

I'm a little

tired of that type of view point Guglielmo. All I asked was why corresponding pics that BALANCE things, aren't posted. I agree with Evr, it is garbage and really not needed. Take your crap and taunts and silence yourself.

my question

My original question: why is this man so upset when Bush is in the executive office? - I mean, his guy won, right?

People on the left, including social progressives, have good reason to be upset, given the irregularities surrounding Bush's election victories (among a host of other Bush Administration activities.)

It just doesn't make sense why a Bush Supporter would be so vulgar and upset. Bush has his way. He has his war. He has his cuts to the infrastructure and social programs. He has his privatization of government...

So why be angry? I think what we are witnessing in this picture is a tendency toward violence - a behavioral disorder of sorts (to answer my own question).

Good point

Why should people who have had things there way for so long be so angry? I don't get it.
»

Why aren't corresponding pics posted?

I can only imagine it is because Robert has a particular policital point of view. Why should he seek "ballance?" He's expressing himself. You are certainly entitled to be tired of that view point, but asking someone to ballance things out when you are perfectly able to do so yourself is, well...I'm tired of THAT view point. Now, sorry if I sounded crappy or disrespectful earlier. I apologize for that.

here you go, googly

I want a damn "rolling eyes"

I want a damn "rolling eyes" smiley.

Anywho, did anyone notice the grumpy looking little girl in the back? Do you think that's grumpy towards the protestors (let's face it you protestors do have a habit of pissing folks off) or toward her parents for making her be there?

That's the same look of

That's the same look of disdain I saw in the eyes of the pro-lifer kids when we showed up and crashed their rally.
»

Not that I sympathize with

Not that I sympathize with the pro-lifers, but I'd be pissed too. I contemplated flipping off the small crowd of "we hate cops *sniffle* " walking up 4th ave the other day. I decided my dislike of them hadn't reached that level yet.

So you just

Threatened one with your finger pistol instead.

Finally, this thread got

Finally, this thread got back on the original subject of a finger.

It's a fair call, but Society's to blame. ~ Right! We'll be charging them too!

Not my style. The finger is

Not my style. The finger is a gesture, I don't like the whole threat thing.
