You may have already seen it. Copies are available at locations all throughout town. It's the Olympia Power and Light. And there's a lot ot be excited about for this new publication. One of the features of the new paper will be to review local establishments. And guess what!? One of the first reviews will be for OlyBlog! So check it out. See what else is up for review. About the rezone proposal, tonight's deliberations, and some recent interactions on OlyBlog: I have recently been labeled and accused of such things as zealotry, fanaticism, extremism, and being unwilling to compromise (by people who post on OlyBlog.) This is a response. And let me tell you - I strongly object to being labeled with those terms. But if I am a zealot because I care about the environment, then that is OK with me. In fact, I wouldn't have it any other way.

I posted a couple of comments on Peter Alden Stroble's OLY 2012's Final Position Paper Endorsing the Urban Waterfront Rezone post (about the Isthmus rezone.) I want to separate them and post them here. The first comment is in response to my effort to deepen the discussion about OLY 2012's advocacy of Smart Growth in regard to the furtherance of sustainability. Can "Smart Growth" further the goal of "sustainability?":
