It's time again for First Friday in Downtown.

Just a week after Arts Walk, we barely cured the post-arts-walk-hang-over, and we're already preparing the next party in town.

Everyday Olympia has the details on participating locations.

Featured at einmaleins will be Hatched Egg'rs
This one is for the families. (Read: Please bring your Kids!!)
You gotta come and see Scott Anderson’s “Stuff for Kid’s Rooms”.
It’s fantastic and now available at einmaleins.

Of course, the usual refreshments and fun will be provided.

See ya in Downtown.

First Friday in Downtown

Friends,

it's time again for our monthly First Friday event in Downtown.

To celebrate the opening of the Olympia Farmers Market for the 2008 season einmaleins is very excited to host Kirsop Farms.

They will showcase their farm and present their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.
And we certainly will have some tasty treats and noone will leave thirsty either!!

But this is not all:

What a great night we had.

After we closed shop at einmaleins, we walked around a bit, to take in the atmosphere downtown.

It was really awesome!

Considering everything that we should be thinking about the event, downtown and safety, the economy, Bush and Riots and Karma and everything in between. It was cool to meet new people, friendly people. People being excited about being out in downtown on a Friday night.

The Black Front Gallery had a great show and their place was humming.

Many stores that I hadn't connected with in regards of First Friday were open, their stores lit up new shop owners were gracious hosts and showed us their space and welcomed us in.

Ahhh,

it's a good time to be in Downtown Olympia!

Friday the 4th from 5pm-late downtown Olympia businesses, art galleries and restaurants will open their doors again for Experience Downtown at Night.

Everyone is welcome, bundle up and bring your family!

As the week progresses we will be posting details of what will happen, but we don't want to give everything away.

Friends, this is getting exciting!

I just talked to a few business/gallery owners here in Downtown and I thought it was worth mentioning that something great is happening!!

So, this Friday marks the first attempt of a "first friday of the month" Experience Downtown at Night event, of many more to come.

A couple businesses have been already posting their events for this friday and I wanted to add a few more to the pot, to entice you to come and join us!
