We signed up with Kirsop Farms to get a CSA box last year and really enjoyed it. Now that the new CSA season is looming, we're trying to decide whether to stay with Kirsop, which we loved, or branch out and try someplace new. Any recommendations?

On Saturday night my wife and I were able to have a night out without our five children. It was a chance for us to actually enjoy pauses in conversation and enjoy ourselves. We don’t go out too often, making Saturday that much more important to us. When we left the house we did not know where we were going to go, and started to plan our evening as we drove away. We each suggested the other choose and after a brief discussion we chose to head over to Basilico Ristorante Italiano. We had tried in December to have dinner on a Sunday night there but normally they are dark on Sunday and on this particular Sunday they were having a special wine tasting prix fix menu, and as we had not previously purchased tickets, we could not get a table.Read the rest of my review here...

I read Norm's review of the Shanghai restaurant over the weekend, and thought, mmm, that sounds tasty. :) Then I remembered that I had a lunch scheduled with some folks at work, and somebody was asking for suggestions. Shockingly, I remembered on Monday to make the suggestion, and that's where we went. And it was a HUGE hit. Everybody had the buffet, and everybody was happy. We will definitely be going back. (And I'll be going back with chad360 sooner rather than later.) BTW: I said that I'd read a review, and somebody asked if the reviewer had stars, forks, etc. for a rating system. I had to say that it was "some guy with a blog" :) and thus, no rating system, just a recommendation. Should we invent an OlyBlog restaurant rating system? |
